Every year, for the past 30 years, Edmundston and all of Madawaska County pulsate during five days to the rhythm of the Foire Brayonne. Edmundston takes on a festive allure to greet thousands to visitors. Edmundston's Foire Brayonne holds an enviable position among summer cultural events in the country.

This festival continues to flourish by staying true to its roots. This is the perfect time to get to know New Brunswick's best-kept secret- the legendary Republic of Madawaska.

City Council joins me in thanking all the volunteers who, year after year, pour their hearts and souls in this great event.  We are convinced this year will be no exception.
